How to remove Parental Lock from Freemake Video Downloader in Windows

Freemake Video Downloader is a freeware software developed by Ellora Assets Corporation designed to download videos in FLV, MP4, WebM, or 3GP formats from most of the websites like YouTube, Facebook, etc,.

Steps to remove Parental Lock from Freemake Video Downloader:

Close your Freemake Video Downloader.

Open Registry Editor by typing regedit in Run.

After hitting Enter it will give you the prompt "Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this Computer?"

Click yes.

Note: Any mistake done in the registry editor could cause problems in your system.

Now in Registry Editor go to the following path:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Freemake\FreemakeVideoDownloader\UserSettings

There you will find around 47 entries related to the user.

Find IsAdultProtectionEnabled and open it.

Now after opening it a window will appear with the name Edit DWORD (32-bit) Value.

In that window you will find a text box with the name Value Data whose value would be 1(1 because the Parental Lock is set).

Change it to 0 and close the Registry Editor.

Now Open your Freemake Video Downloader and there your will find that the password has been removed.
